Loopette Technology, Inc. (“Loopette Technology,” “we,” “us”) is an independent software company. We build software, starting with Loopette, an app that turns music into language lessons. This policy covers this corporate website (loopette.tech). Use of the Loopette app itself is covered by Loopette’s own Privacy Policy, which goes into product-specific detail, the summary below is a generalized overview of how we approach data across the company.

2. This website

This site doesn’t have accounts, tracking cookies, or behavioral advertising. Visiting it generates standard web server logs (IP address, browser type, timestamps) used only for security and abuse prevention. If you email us, we keep that correspondence to respond to you and for our records.

3. How Loopette (the product) handles data

We keep a deliberately small footprint. In short:

• We store your email, basic profile, an encrypted connection token to your music streamer, and your learning activity (saved words, progress, notes).
• We do not store your playlists, listening history, or full song lyrics , those are fetched live from your streamer only while you’re using the app.
• Translations and lessons are generated on demand and are not retained as standalone content.
• We do not sell personal data and do not use it for behavioral advertising.

4. Third parties

Depending on the product you use, we work with music streaming providers (such as Spotify or Apple Music), lyrics and translation providers, and standard cloud hosting and email infrastructure. Loopette Technology, Inc. is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by any connected streaming service, their marks belong to their respective owners.

5. Your rights

Depending on where you live (including the EEA, UK, Switzerland, and California), you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your personal data. To exercise any of these rights, email hello@loopette.io.

6. Children

Our products are not directed to children. Eligibility to use Loopette follows the minimum age required by the music streaming service you connect.
